Q: Can I purchase TYB by itself?

Q: What are your shipping options?
A: For perishable items, we ship via UPS. Non-perishable items are sent via USPS, with an upgrade option to UPS. Please note that items sent via USPS can not be tracked, while UPS provides detailed tracking information. International orders are shipped via UPS International Priority.

Q: When can I expect to receive my order?
A: Items sent via USPS take 4-7 days on average, depending on your location. Items sent via UPS Overnight are delivered the next day by 3pm. Items sent via UPS 2nd Day will be received 2 days after the order is placed. Please note that UPS deliveries are not made on Saturdays or Sundays. For this reason, perishable items ordered on Thursday or Friday will not be shipped until the following Monday.

Q: What are your payment options?
A: For phone or internet orders, we accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. For orders placed on our Ebay store, we accept Paypal and the credit cards listed above.

Q: Is it safe to pay with a credit card?
A: Yes! Our websites are all equipped with Secure Server protection. Orders placed over the phone are processed in house, so your information is completely protected.

Q: What happens if I need to return a product?
A: Disposable and perishable items have a strict no return, no refund policy. If you have any questions about our refund policy, please call us at 859-278-6806.

Q: Do I have to order online?
A: Absolutely not! If you are uncomfortable ordering products online, please call us! We are in the office from 8:30 am to 5 pm Eastern Time to answer all your questions and to take product orders.

Q: I live outside the USA. Can I still place an order?
A: Yes. For Ebay purchases, send us an email for the shipping charge. For orders placed on our online store at, international shipping will be calculated after your order is placed.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No, at this time we do not accept insurance. However, we will provide you with a receipt so that you may file a claim with your insurance company for re-imbursement.

Q: Why does the BioTranz come with 2 test tubes?
A: When using the BioTranz kit, the produced specimen is placed in 1 of the test tubes and is mixed with the Test Yolk Buffer (TYB). The second test tube is provided as a back up in case there is a mistake with the first test tube. In rare cases, the specimen produced is too large for 1 test tube. When this happens, half of the specimen is placed in each test tube with half the amount of TYB.

Q: Can I purchase TYB by itself?
A: No. The TYB is only available when you purchase one of our Bio-Tranz kits.
Q: Does shipping semen or sperm via other non-certified or properly tested semen shippers other than the BioTranz harm the sperm?
A: Definitely! Do not be fooled by imitations and ship your semen via non-certified or properly tested semen/sperm shippers such as those used to ship animal semen or other biological transporters. Do not take a chance with the health of your future child. Do it right! (See full article)
